Rear Hugger

When a motorcycle or scooter is void of structural elements over the rear wheel, the truth is that it resembles a racing bike. However impressive this may be, it is also a curse as there is minimal protection against mud or water which eventually will cake your rear wheel, fender, saddle and even your helmet. Any pillion rider will be even more affected with his or her jacket, trousers and helmet splattered in dirty water or mud.
The main reason we designed a rear hugger specifically for the Honda X-ADV 750 is to retain the mud and water spray. For optimum results, the objective was to design it so that it offers protection beyond the rear axle point as well as on the sides of the tyre. Stability and impressive appearance were also an objective. Appearance may be subjective but functionality in terms of design is not. One of our fundamental parameters is to actually avoid creating anything too eye-catching so as to show respect for the original vehicle designer. In this case, we believe that we have achieved this target: a strictly functional rear hugger, simple and stable.
Two parts were designed and created in order to provide stability which are made from 2mm-thick steel and powder-coated in black. The main body of the hugger is made of 3mm-thick ABS plastic which provides both strength and flexibility. It is finished in a glossy black
