Rear Fender

This is the most complicated part of the two projects. The taillight in its original form is quite large. We believed it could be improved so we decided to replace it, but along the way we realized that this could not be done without modification. As we want our products to be bolt-on, we decided to remove everything from the rear part of the motorcycle and re-design it all from scratch. We wanted to keep it as ‘tidy’ as possible and do it in such a way that it can be used on both models without any modifications. So, we built a new rear fender, shorter in length than the original, so that the rear part of the motorcycle would be more open or exposed.

A new plastic cover for the OEM metal support bracket that holds the taillight, has been designed for the Continental GT 650 Café Racer. This enables it to support the license plate holder (without the oversized original taillight) and should be used with our SCR-RE-CR seat unit that has a taillight embedded in the cowl.

We also designed two different turn signal mounts, while maintaining the license plate holder, so that you can have the option of using the turn signal of your preference, the original or any other type. The plastic parts are all made of 3mm ABS plastic in matt black color and the metallic parts are powdered-coated steel.
