Chain Guard & Shark Fin Guard

What more can be said about the Honda X-ADV 750? Is it a revolutionary scooter or is it more than a scooter? Whatever it is, one thing is certain: it is unique in its class.
This is one of the reasons we decided to introduce a range of products for this model. One of them is a chain guard which slightly modifies the current one. In order to clean and lubricate the chain properly, the factory guard must be removed and this is time-consuming and can also wear out the supporting bolts and nuts. The factory chain guard, despite the uncommon (for a scooter) presence of a drive chain, is designed to make it look like a scooter. That is exactly what we intended to change. We aimed at it functioning like a motorcycle because, in all reality, it is more motorcycle than scooter.
We started designing a chain guard but along the way we came up with the idea of incorporating a shark fin guard that would result in a much more complete product. If you are a rider who also takes your X-ADV off road, your chain will also be fully protected from mud and stones. We believe that the inspiration has been justified by the end product which enhances the overall looks of the bike despite it still being “just a scooter”.
Both parts are made of 3mm-thick aluminium and are available in two colours, black and silver, both powder-coated for enhanced protection from mud and stones.
Of course, no modification is required. The new chain guard is installed using the screws provided in the exact same screw positions as the old one.
Combine the chain guard with our specially designed rear hugger (RH-HXADV21) to get the best possible protection for your X-ADV.
Make your scooter look more like a motorcycle although, in our opinion, that is what it is – a motorcycle.
